Rohan Bopanna of India and Matthew Ebden of Australia advanced to the third round of the men's doubles competition at the US Open by defeating Kazakhstan's Andrey Golubev and Russia's Roman Safiullin in straight sets.
The sixth-seeded Indo-Australian team defeated the unseeded British team of Henry Patten and Julian Cash 6-3, 6-3 on Friday to go to the quarterfinals.
