UFC Fight: Leon Edwards beats Kamaru Usman, Again!

On Saturday night at the O2 Arena, 'Rocky' Edwards defeated Usman in a majority decision [48-46, 48-46, 47-47] after five rounds of fighting. Although the opening round was cautious, the crowd enjoyed themselves and loudly chanted for Edwards. He caught the attention of the audience with his famous 'Headshot, dead' catchphrase and impressed with several heavy body kicks.

Both fighters had their moments in round two, but Edwards continued to impress with his slick striking. However, Usman landed big shots and had some success with his wrestling.

In round three, Usman secured an early takedown but was not able to keep the champion on the floor. Referee Herb Dean controversially deducted a point from Edwards for illegally grabbing the fence.

The fourth round was another close one, but Edwards had success with his strikes and defended takedowns well.

In the final round, Usman tried to close the distance and get a takedown but was unsuccessful. Although Colby Covington was cage-side for the UFC 286 main event, Edwards seems more interested in facing Jorge Masvidal or Gilbert Burns, who fight at UFC 287 next month.
