The NBA commissioner Adam Silver made this announcement on Tuesday while addressing a press conference at Intuit Dome. He was also alongside Clippers chairman Steve Ballmer, Clippers president of business operations Gillian Zucker, Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts Jr and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.

The 2024 NBA All-Star Game is to begin on 18th February at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Whereas the 2025 NBA All-Star Game is to be hosted by the Golden State Warriors at Chase Arena in San Francisco.

The Clippers shifted in 1999 to the Staples Centre and have occupied that space ever since just like the Lakers when they relocated themselves from San Diego in 1984. Intuit Dome is a multi-purpose arena but will be mainly used for basketball.
