The Final decider - India wins the series with a record win over NZ

For a 2-1 series victory, Indian bowlers bowled out the Kiwis for just 66 runs in 12.1 overs. In three one-day matches, the hosts eliminated the Kiwis completely. After losing half of their team in the first six overs, New Zealand was bowled out for 66, needing 235 runs to win.

Shubman Gill continued his remarkable run of form by scoring 12 fours and 7 sixes in his 63-ball innings as India chose to bat first on a surface that was conducive to batsmanship.

While India chose to bat first and scored 234/4 with Shubman's highest T20I score, an unbeaten 126* off 63, they eventually lost to the Kiwis for 66, claiming yet another series victory. After losing the first of their three Twenty20 International matches in Ranchi, the Men in Blue won the series 2-1.

India won by the largest margin of runs ever in a T20 international match between two nations that play Tests.

Suryakumar Yadav, Shubman Gill's attacking partner, smashed 24 off 13 balls as the two continued their assault, making Shubman Gill the fifth Indian batsman to score centuries in all three formats.
