They both scored centuries and remained unbeaten to help India post a massive total of 356/2 in 50 overs. Virat Kohli has been named Player of the Match for his undefeated 122-run innings.
Pakistan started the chase slowly, with Jasprit Bumrah dismissing Fakhar Zaman in the first over. Hardik Pandya then removed Babar Azam, and Kuldeep Yadav took over from there. He took five wickets in his eight overs, as Pakistan were bowled out for 128.
Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah did not bat, as they had left the field during the Indian innings. India won the match by 229 runs and will now face Sri Lanka in the Super 4 clash on Tuesday.
