India's first match in the 2024 T20 World Cup Super 8 will be against Afghanistan at the Kensington Oval in Barbados. Now that they are not playing on the hazardous pitch at Nassau County Stadium in New York, Rohit Sharma and the other hitters on the team, especially Virat Kohli, will be trying to break a few chains.
It'll be very interesting to observe how Virat Kohli performs. The long-serving captain of India has never participated in a Twenty20 International match at Kensington Oval. In all of his lengthy career, he has only participated in one Test match and one One-Day International. Even though they advanced through the group stage without altering their strategy, India may decide to strengthen that aspect of their bowling lineup given the Caribbean's traditionally spin-friendly conditions.
