Satwik-Chirag into French Open Final, Lakshya Sen Out in Semis

Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, the first and second-ranked players in the French Open, have made it to the final for the third time in 2024, which is an amazing display of skill and determination. India's Kang Minhyuk and Korea's Seo Seungjae easily beat the defending world winners in the men's doubles semifinal in Paris, securing their spot in the finals.

Before the Olympics in Paris, Satwik and Chirag were in excellent form, and they proved it by defeating the Korean duo 21-13, 21-16. The winner between Chinese Taipei's Lee Jhe-Huei and Yang Po-Hsuan and Japanese competitors Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi will take on the Indian pair in the Sunday finals.

Satwik had spoken previously about their remarkable run and their goal of peaking in time for the Olympics. To perform well at the next competitions, including All England, the team has been practicing various gameplay techniques.

Conversely, Thailand's Kunlavut Vitidsarn dealt a severe blow to Lakshya Sen, 22, in the semifinals. Sen managed to win the opening game 22–20, but he lost the next two games 21–13 and 21–11 because he was unable to sustain his momentum.

The focus is still on Satwik-Chirag as they look to win in Paris and maintain their strong form going into the Tokyo Olympics, even though Sen's run at the French Open may have come to an end. When the Indian pair play their opponents for the coveted French Open on Sunday, fans may expect an entertaining climax.
