Royal Challengers Bangalore beat the Delhi Capitals by eight wickets to win the Women's Premier League final. They played very well. Sophie Molineux and Shreyanka Patil helped RCB win by keeping Delhi to a low score of 113 with their wickets.

When the Delhi Capitals decided to bat first, they got off to a great start. In the first few overs, Shafali Verma and Captain Meg Lanning scored 50 runs together. They tried to get going, but Sophie Molineux got three wickets in one over and stopped them. This broke up the middle order. It was even worse for Delhi because of Shreyanka Patil's important wickets. In the end, they made too few runs.
Continued efforts by RCB to win
The starting pair for RCB, Smriti Mandhana and Sophie Devine, built a strong base by being careful as they went for 114. With scores of 31 and 32 from Mandhana and Devine, Ellyse Perry and Richa Gosh helped RCB win. A perfect 35 runs from Perry and a calm game from Gosh helped RCB win the Women's Premier League for the first time.

Both the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the other teams that played in the Women's Premier League final did very well. Shoni Molineux and Shreyanka Patil were great with the ball, and Smriti Mandhana, Ellyse Perry, and Richa Gosh were great at leading the chase. For RCB, the win was big because it was their first WPL title. They are now one of the few teams to have won the league's top prize.
