Rishabh Pant the former wicket-keeper batter was recently seen having a chat with the India skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli while the team was gearing up for their preparations for the third and final T20I series against Afghanistan.
The third and final T20I series against Afghanistan will be taking place at the M.Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru. India are currently on a 2-0 lead against the visitors.
Rishabh Pant is currently undergoing his rehab at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and is hoping to make his comeback in the 2024 IPL season for his team Delhi Capitals (DC). Rishabh Pant is currently recovering after he met with a fatal car accident and where he had sustained multiple injuries. This happened to Pant in December of 2022.
Rishabh Pant was doing some shadow batting in the nets before the team India players arrived at the nets to start their practice for their upcoming match against Afghanistan. Pant keeps posting about his fitness journey on his social media and is hoping to make a comeback in cricket very soon.
Though in the visuals it was seen that Pant did not look 100% fit as he hobbled a bit during his training session. Rishabh Pant tore three of his ligaments in his right knee and has undergone three successful surgeries after meeting with the horrific accident.
Pant also attended the IPL auction in Dubai that happened last year and also attended the DC camp in Kolkata last year.
