RCB Back
With this victory, RCB, who had lost their first two games, turned around, improving their confidence and spirits. Mandhana emphasised the value of a strong recovery following defeats while praising the team's combined effort in batting well against UP Warriorz.
The Magnificent Performance of Mandhana and Perry
Mandhana's blazing 80 off 50 balls and Perry's fast-bowling 58 off 37 deliveries helped RCB reach an impressive total of 198 for 3. The two were a great team, not only in terms of runs scored but also in terms of their ability to strategically target particular bowlers and carry out their plans.
Looking Ahead
With six points from five games, RCB now occupies the third spot in the WPL 2024 points standings after this win. In their next game at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on March 6, Mandhana's squad will take on Beth Mooney's Gujarat Giants with the intention of maintaining the momentum from their most recent victory.
