Liverpool won 4-0 over Bournemouth to extend their Premier League lead. Their league win streak now stands at 14 games. Liverpool settled in the second half after a tense first. Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez scored twice. Nunez scored well in the 49th minute. Jota then ruled. Two goals in the 70th and 79th minutes put Bournemouth out of reach. In extra time, Nunez's second goal won it. At 21 games and 48 points, Liverpool leads their nearest rival by five. Aston Villa, Arsenal, and Manchester City all have 43 points, but City leads by a game. Bournemouth is 12th with 25 points. The first-half performance disappointed Jurgen Klopp, but the second-half performance pleased him. Liverpool excelled without top scorer Mohamed Salah.
