Pakistan won't play World Cup matches in India - Some matches could be hosted in Bangladesh

As per sources, Pakistan has threatened to boycott the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, scheduled to be held in India later this year, if the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) does not allow the Men in Blue to participate in Asia Cup 2023. Pakistan is reportedly demanding that their World Cup matches be hosted by Bangladesh or Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, there have been discussions about a hybrid model for the Asia Cup, where India would play their matches at a neutral venue, and Pakistan would host the tournament. However, no formal discussions have taken place on this subject. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has warned that India not participating in Asia Cup could impact the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which is scheduled to be held in Pakistan. The Asia Cup, which will be played in a 50-over format, has grouped India and Pakistan together, along with a qualifier, while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are part of the other group.
