Neymar suffers knee injury in Brazil's World Cup qualifying match

Neymar was overcome with emotion as he departed the field due to a visible knee injury towards the end of the first half of Brazil's World Cup qualifying match against Uruguay on Tuesday.

During a sprint in the 44th minute at the Centenario Stadium, the 31-year-old forward stumbled and fell, prompting players from both teams to gather around him as he cradled his left knee. Neymar was then carefully transported off the field on a stretcher, with his hands covering his face. In his place, Richarlison was substituted.

The medical team from Brazil unfortunately did not have an immediate update on Neymar's condition.

Neymar, who currently represents Al Hilal of the Saudi Pro League, faced some criticism from fans before the World Cup qualifier due to his below-average display in the 1-1 draw between Brazil and Venezuela, which took place on Thursday.

Neymar had the privilege of making his national team debut in 2010 and has impressively scored 79 goals in 128 appearances for Brazil.
In the end, the fans and everyone pray for his fast recovery and hope to see him play soon.
