The journey begins with the 'Junior Open Water Diver' certification, followed by successive tiers like 'Open Water Diver', 'Advanced Open Water Diver', 'Deep Diver', and the prestigious 'tech-diver' classifications designed for deeper exploits.

A Remarkable Journey

Dwit Nandu embarked on this incredible journey after meticulously preparing for months. The stringent course entailed advanced swimming skills, a 200-meter unassisted swim, mastery of five comprehensive modules, acing a written examination, confined water training in a swimming pool, and culminating in four open water dives. Dwit's perseverance led him to secure a world record.

A Family Tradition of Adventure

The Nandu family boasts a tradition of underwater exploration. Dr. Amit Nandu, a certified Deep Diver, has passed on his adventurous spirit to his elder son Jinay, a 21-year-old student at IIT Bombay, who is an accomplished Advanced Open Water Diver. Now, Dwit has added another layer to this legacy by clinching the title of the youngest Junior Open Water Diver.

In an official certificate issued by instructor Riyas Jalal of East Coast Watersports Pvt Ltd, Dwit's achievement was documented. On August 24, 2023, Dwit completed his Scuba Diver Course, diving to a depth of 40 feet. Jinay and Dwit stand as a testament to the harmonious balance between academic excellence and adventurous exploration, encapsulating the spirit of achievement.

Dwit A. Nandu's feat resounds as a testament to the youthful determination and a family's dedication to adventure. His record-breaking achievement beckons the world to recognize that age is no barrier to greatness.
