Making up for the loss: Ind vs New Zealand Match 2 gets India an equalizer

In the second T20I match, India defeated New Zealand by six wickets to level the three-match series in Lucknow on Sunday. Despite only defending 100 runs, New Zealand was able to keep the match going until the second last ball.

In the second T20I match in Lucknow, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya maintained their composure to lead India to a hard-fought victory over New Zealand. 

India restricted New Zealand to 99/8 in the second T20I match on Sunday at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Arshdeep Singh took two wickets. Choosing to bat first, the visitors managed only 99 runs in 20 overs and kept losing wickets frequently. 

In addition to Arshdeep, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Hardik Pandya, and Deep Hooda each took a wicket. Mitchell Santner remained unbeaten for New Zealand with 19 runs off 23 deliveries. Mitchell Santner, the captain of New Zealand, won the toss and chose to bat first against India.

Chasing 100, India brought in Suryakumar to get them past the finish line.
