Legendary spinner & former India captain Bishan Singh Bedi passes away at 77

 India's cricket team and one of the best left-handed spin bowlers, Bishan Singh Bedipassed away on Monday after being sick for a long time.

He was 77 years old and is survived by his wife Anju, son Angad, and daughter Neha.

Bedi was born in Amritsar in 1946 and played 67 important matches for India's cricket team. He managed to get 266 players out, and in some games, he got five or even ten players out.

Bedi passed away at his home this morning. He had a knee operation, but sadly, he got an infection and couldn't get better. He is survived by his wife Anju, son Angad, and daughter Neha. Born in Amritsar in 1946, Bedi played 67 cricket matches for India and took 266 wickets, achieving impressive records.

Bedi, who played 67 Test matches from 1967 to 1979 and took 266 wickets. He was 77 years old and is survived by his wife Anju, son Angad, and daughter Neha.

Ravichandran Ashwin, a senior Indian spinner, remembered Bedi for his support to young cricketers, and Gautam Gambhir, a former opener, appreciated Bedi's significant contributions.
