Lamine Yamal has made a splash by not just being Spain’s youngest goal scorer but also the youngest player to score in a European Championship qualifier.
Yamal who is 16 years and 57 broke Spain’s Gavi’s and Gareth Bale’s records by scoring against Georgia in the European qualifier.
Spain won the qualifier with a 7-1 against Georgia with Alvaro Morata scoring a hatrick and Lamine Yamal scoring in the 74th minute.
Speaking to Spanish broadcasters Lamine Yamal said, "I'm happy obviously, for my debut and my goal," he added. "It's a dream. I'm living in a dream right now.’
"I'm very happy and I have to thank my team-mates and the coach for the confidence he has given me, and to everyone who has helped me on this path."
