Jasprit Bumrah to miss ODI Series vs Sri Lanka as of fitness concerns

India’s ace speedster Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the upcoming three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. The BCCI confirmed on Monday that Jasprit Bumrah will not be a part of India's ODI squad for the 3-match series against Sri Lanka, starting on Tuesday. BCCI pulled the pacer out of the ODI series against Sri Lanka, saying he will need some more time to build bowling resilience. Fans faced flak online after the BCCI decided to pull him out from the ODI series against Sri Lanka.

Jasprit Bumrah is a professional Indian cricketer who plays as a fast bowler for the Indian national team. 

He made his debut for the Indian team in January 2016 and quickly established himself as one of the top fast bowlers in the world.

Bumrah is known for his unique and unorthodox bowling action, which makes it difficult for batsmen to pick up the ball. He is particularly skilled at bowling yorkers and slower balls, which he uses to great effect in the death overs of an innings.

Bumrah has had great success in limited-overs cricket, including being the number one ranked ODI bowler in the world for several months. He was also the top wicket-taker for India in the 2019 Cricket World Cup.

Bumrah made his Test debut in January 2018, and has had a good success in the format too, particularly in overseas tours and being the top wicket-taker for India in the Test series in 2018-19. 

Bumrah is also known for his stamina and consistency, with an ability to maintain a high level of performance even after bowling several overs in a row. He is often considered as one of the key player for Indian cricket team and his absence have been greatly felt when he is not playing for the team.

Apart from cricket, Jasprit Bumrah is also known for his humble and down-to-earth personality, rarely seen giving interviews and avoiding controversies in the media.
