East Bengal delivered an impressive performance in the Indian Super League (ISL) as they defeated NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) with a resounding 5-0 victory. This win marks East Bengal's best showing in the ISL so far.

East Bengal's defence also played a crucial role in their victory, with Hijaji Saleh making a crucial tackle to deny NEUFC a goal-scoring opportunity.
This win is only the second for East Bengal this season, but it propels them to the seventh spot in the ISL standings with eight points from seven matches. NEUFC remains in the sixth spot with nine points from eight matches.
Overall, this victory will be remembered as one of East Bengal's most memorable outings in the ISL. They showcased their attacking prowess and solid defence, leaving NEUFC struggling to find a way back into the game.
