The most awaited match, finals of IPL's 16 th season, Chennai Super Kings Vs. Gujarat Titans has been postponed to Monday, 29th May. Heavy rains on Sunday evening made it impossible to play the game. According to the weather forecast, it was expected to rain before the match in Ahmedabad but it started raining heavily for almost 3 hours. Fans were so disappointed but they were still hoping to start the match. But rain poured into the ground again. There needed at least an hour for ground workers to build the ground into a condition to play. It didn't happen and at 11 pm, the umpire made an announcement to postpone the match to Monday on the same ground of Narendra Modi Stadium.
As per the tweet, the audience can watch the match with a Sunday ticket as it will be valid for the rescheduled match.
But what if rain surprises everyone today too?? The umpire has given a cut off time for the 20 overs match, it is 9:40 pm. For the 5 overs match it's 12:26 am and if it won't possible to play at least 5 overs, then a superover will be taken. If anything doesn't happen on time, then GT will be announced as the winner as they have the highest points and ranked first in the table.
