Three participants in the National Games, including a rugby player from the Maharashtra team, have been admitted to the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC) for medical attention. In response, GMC has established dedicated medical facilities to address the medical needs of the players.
Govind Gaude, the Minister of Sports for Goa, stopped by GMC to inquire about the three competitors' well-being. He personally asked how they were doing and gave them his word that they would have complete support during their recuperation.Gaude also interacted with the athletes, emphasising the state's commitment to their safety and health. Goa is determined to prioritise the well-being of all participants in the National Games, demonstrating its dedication to hosting a successful event.
