Jasprit Bumrah, India's top fast bowler, most likely won't play in the fourth Test match against England in Ranchi. K.L. Rahul, the batsman, will return from his hip ailment in the interim. With the most wickets in the series, Bumrah was very important when India won the second Test. After bowling a lot in this series so far, Bumrah will be rested so that he doesn't get too tired. Illness kept Rahul from playing in the last few Tests, but he is almost fully recovered now and will probably be in the team for the next game.
India's Series Tie at 2-1
The series is currently tied at 2-1, with India having the chance to win it all in Ranchi. Bumrah will help them out for the third Test in Dharamsala, though, if they need to. This is an important part of India's batting order: Rahul has been in good shape since coming back from surgery. In all formats, he has always done a good job, and he was very important in India's game in South Africa.
The people in charge of the Indian team are working hard to keep the players fit so they are ready for the rest of the games. It was this way of thinking that led to the choice to rest Bumrah and bring back Rahul. India will try to build on their lead and achieve a win in Ranchi, where the series is very close. Their chances in the next Test will be better now that Rahul is back because he adds strength to the batting order.
