Indian Athletes shine at Women's World Boxing Championships.
Nitu Ghanghas defeated Lutsaikhan Altansetseg of Mongolia in the summit clash of the 48kg category to win gold medals at the Women's Boxing Championships on Saturday. Saweety Boora of India defeated Wang Lina of China in the final of the 81kg category. Nitu, a 2022 Strandja Commemoration gold medallist, became the 6th Indian fighter to be crowned the title holder.
Saweety made it two out of two for the hosts as she won a test versus Lina.
