Jasprit Bumrah, the best fast bowler in India, took three wickets for 81 runs in an effort to stop Australia's attack of runs. On the other hand, Glenn Maxwell was the star performer with the ball for Australia, securing a remarkable 4-wicket haul for just 40 runs.
In recognition of their outstanding performances, Shubman Gill was named the Player of the Series, while Glenn Maxwell's all-around brilliance earned him the title of Player of the Match.
This result emphasises the unpredictable nature of one-day international cricket, highlighting the significance of teams' ability to adapt to constantly shifting conditions in the larger context of the World Cup.
