England Women Secure T20I Series Victory with Dominant Win Against India Women in Second T20I

India suffered a defeat in the second T20I against England, losing the three-match series 2-0. The Indian batters struggled against the English bowlers, with only Jemimah Rodrigues and Smriti Mandhana reaching double figures. India was bowled out for just 80 runs in 16.2 overs.

In the defence of the low total, Indian bowlers Renuka Singh and Deepti Sharma showed some fight, but it wasn't enough to stop England from reaching the target. Renuka Singh took two early wickets, reducing England to 19/2 in three overs. However, a partnership between Alice Capsey and Nat Sciver-Brunt helped England recover.

India managed to pick up a few wickets through Saika Ishaque and Deepti Sharma, but England's skipper Heather Knight and Sophie Ecclestone guided their team to a four-wicket victory. Renuka Singh and Deepti Sharma were the standout bowlers for India, taking two wickets each.

In the third T20I, India's batting woes continued as they were bundled out for 80 runs once again. Jemimah Rodrigues was the only batswoman who showed some resistance, scoring 30 runs. England's bowlers, including Charlotte Dean and Sarah Glenn, took wickets at regular intervals to restrict India's scoring.

India's top order struggled, with Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana getting dismissed early. Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma tried to stabilise the innings but fell victim to the English bowlers. India kept losing wickets, and Jemimah Rodrigues' dismissal left them in a precarious position at 68-8.

Sophie Ecclestone ended India's innings by removing Saika Ishaque, and India were bowled out for 80 runs once again. England's bowlers dominated the series, with every bowler taking at least one wicket.

Overall, it was a disappointing performance from the Indian team, both with the bat and the ball. England's bowlers were exceptional, and their batswomen managed to chase down the low totals comfortably. India will need to regroup and work on their batting and bowling before their next series.
