Cristiano Ronaldo, a football player for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia and Portugal, scored a magnificent goal with a lob to help his team defeat Al Okhdood 3-0 at home. Al Nassr is now only one point behind Al-Hilal at the top of the Saudi Pro League table after their 11th victory in 14 games.
The squad dominated the game for the full 90 minutes, with Ronaldo scoring two goals in as many minutes. Ronaldo scored his first goal in the 77th minute, but his second goal in the 80th minute enthralled the Al-Awwal Park Stadium crowd.
The shot was a long-range lob from about 35 yards out that cleared goalkeeper Paulo Vitor of the opposition and many defenders before landing just under the crossbar. Vitor sprinted out of his box to block a shot, but the ball found its way to the Portuguese star instead. The captain of Portugal then made a move and finished brilliantly.With the two goals he scored, Ronaldo increased his goal total to 15 in just his 13th appearance for his team this season.
Regarding the game, Sami Al-Naji gave Al Nassr the lead in the thirteenth minute, and the score remained unchanged until Ronaldo performed his magic.Next week, the top-of-the-table matchup between Al-Hilal and Al Nassr will take place. With 35 points, Al-Hilal has played one fewer game than Al Nassr.
Meanwhile, in the upcoming games, Al Okhdood, the recently promoted squad from the Saudi Pro League, will have their hands full. Despite playing 14 games, Al Okhdood has only managed 3 wins and 1 tie. As they faced Al Nassr, they suffered their tenth loss of the year. Currently ranked 16th out of 18 teams, they have only 10 points.
