After failing a concussion test, David Warner was forced to withdraw from the remaining India-Delhi Test and was replaced by Matthew Renshaw. Early in the first day of the second Test, Indian seamer Mohammed Siraj struck the Australian opener in the helmet, but he kept batting.
Afterwards, Mohammed Shami caught him for 15 by edging him to wicketkeeper Srikar Bharat.
“He got a knock to the arm and then the head, I think the head made him a little bit weary at the moment and couldn’t come out to field,” Australian teammate Usman Khawaja said at stumps.
“The staff will have to figure out what happens from here.”
