Cheteshwar Pujara is on the elite Indian list of 100 tests

When Cheteshwar Pujara plays in the second Test against Australia on February 17 in Delhi, he will join an elite group of India cricketers.

Cheteshwar Pujara will become the 13th cricketer from India to play in all 100 Test matches. Ironically, Australia will be the target of this historic event. Pujara will be the second cricketer in the current squad to complete 100 Test matches. In March 2022, Virat Kohli played his 100th game against Sri Lanka in Mohali.

Cheteshwar Pujara is an Indian cricketer who was born on January 25, 1988, in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. He is a right-handed top-order batsman and is considered one of the best Test batsmen of the current generation. Pujara made his international debut for India in October 2010 in a Test match against Australia in Bangalore. He has since gone on to represent India in several Test matches, One Day Internationals (ODIs), and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Pujara is known for his ability to occupy the crease for long periods of time, which makes him a crucial asset to the Indian Test team.

Pujara has several notable achievements in his cricket career, including being named the player of the series in India's historic Test series win against Australia in 2018-19.
