After the Women's Premier League's successful inaugural auction, the tournament schedule was released on Tuesday by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
The Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians will meet on March 4 at DY Patil Stadium to kick off the league. The inaugural WPL doubleheader will take place on Sunday, March 5, with Royal Challengers Bangalore taking on Delhi Capitals at Brabourne Stadium, CCI taking on UP Warriorz, and Gujarat Giants taking on Gujarat Warriorz at DY Patil Stadium in the evening.
Over the course of 23 days, there will be a total of 20 league games and 2 playoff games.
The final league round game will be played on March 21 at the Brabourne Stadium, CCI, between the UP Warriorz and the Delhi Capitals. Both the DY Patil Stadium and the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai will host 11 games.
The final is scheduled for March 26 at Brabourne Stadium, with the Eliminator match taking place on March 24 at DY Patil Stadium.
All evening matches of WPL 2023 will begin at 7:30 p.m. IST, beginning with the first match at 3:30 p.m. IST.
