In the match against South Africa, Australia chased down a target of 213 runs. David Warner and Travis Head provided a solid start with a 60-run partnership, but the team faced a few setbacks. However, Steven Smith and Josh Inglis ensured Australia's victory. Marnus Labuschagne also made a valuable contribution with 18 runs. South Africa's bowlers, including Kagiso Rabada and Tabraiz Shamsi, took wickets but couldn't stop Australia from reaching the final.

Earlier, Australia displayed a dominant performance in bowling, restricting South Africa to 212 runs. David Miller was the only standout performer for South Africa, scoring 101 runs. Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, and Mitchell Starc were the key bowlers for Australia, taking a total of eight wickets. Starc ended with impressive figures of 34/3 in his 10 overs.
