Indian archer Prathamesh Jawkar has successfully achieved a Silver medal for India at the Archery World Cup Final 2023 in Hermosillo, Mexico.
The Indian archer, World Number 14 Prathamesh Jawkar played against Denmark’s Mathias Fullerton who is 10th-ranked in the finals. The match ended in a 148-148 tie, although both the archers had hit a 10 in the shoot-off, the gold was given to Denmark’s Mathias Fullerton as his hot was closer to the center mark.
Prathamesh Jawkar has just missed the gold, but his performance was one to remember with a win against world No. 5 Miguel Becerra of Italy's 149-141 and a perfect 150 against world No.1 Mike Schloesser of the Netherlands
