Sri Lankan cricket legend Muttiah Muralitharan is brimming with excitement as the official trailer for his biographical film, titled '800,' was unveiled on Tuesday. The launch event took place in Mumbai, where legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and former Sri Lankan all-rounder Sanath Jayasuriya did the honours.
Muralitharan expressed his pride in having Tendulkar and Jayasuriya launch the trailer, highlighting that this project has been in the works for the past five years. He hopes that people will thoroughly enjoy the movie.

In this much-anticipated biopic, Oscar-winning actor Madhurr Mittal will step into the shoes of the legendary Sri Lankan spinner. Written and directed by MS Sripathy, the film will be released in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu languages.

Muttiah Muralitharan, a member of the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame, is hailed as one of the greatest bowlers in the history of cricket. He holds the distinction of being the only bowler to take 800 Test wickets and 530 ODI wickets, making him the highest wicket-taker in both formats. Notably, Muralitharan dismissed Sachin Tendulkar a total of 13 times during their cricketing careers.
