The Ministry of Home Affairs, Intelligence Bureau (MHA, IB), has opened applications for the recruitment of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade II/Technical positions in 2023. Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official MHA website at mha.gov.in.
The Registration Process has been started from December 23, 2023, and will continue until January 12, 2024. As part of the application procedure, candidates are required to submit the application fee by January 16, 2024. This recruitment drive aims to fill 226 vacancies within the organisation.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade II/Technical positions, candidates need to meet specific criteria. They must have attained qualifying cut-off marks in GATE 2021, 2022, or 2023 in Electronics & Communication (GATE code: EC) or Computer Science & Information Technology (GATE code: CS) with one of the following:

BE or BTech in Electronics, Electronics & Tele-communication, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering from a Government recognised university/college/institute.

Master's degree in Science with Electronics or Physics with Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Computer Science

Master's degree in Computer Applications from a government recognised university/college/institute.
Age Limit
Age Limit is between 18 and 27 years as of January 12, 2024. Candidates must adhere to this age range to be eligible for the recruitment.
Selection Process
The selection process involves consideration of GATE scores. Candidates, in a quantity of 10 times the available vacancies, meeting the qualifying GATE 2021, 2022, or 2023 cut-off marks will be shortlisted and directly invited for the Interview. The interview evaluates candidates based on subject knowledge in relevant fields and communication skills. The final merit list will be determined by combining candidates' GATE scores and performance in the Interview.
Examination Fees
The examination fee is ₹100 for all candidates, with an additional ₹100 for male candidates of UR, EWS, and OBC categories as Recruitment Processing Charges. Payment options include online methods through SBI EPAY LITE, such as Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, UPI, and SBI challan.
