After Dior launched its new holiday campaign a few days later, some social media users attempted to link the two events, speculating, without any substantiated evidence, that Hadid had been removed from the promotion because of her statement.

According to the report, Hadid's agreement with the high-end fashion brand had concluded in March 2022, well before the most recent conflict, a person close to the matter told The Associated Press.  In the 2023 holiday campaign for Dior, Tager is among the models featured. Still, it's worth noting that she was also part of the 2022 campaign, where both advertisements primarily showcased the actor Anya Taylor-Joy.

One post on X, the platform previously known as Twitter, says,  “Dior has REPLACED Bella Hadid with an ISRAELI model in their latest campaign. This comes after Bella Hadid came out in support of Palestine,”  The post garnered over 11,000 likes, and a hashtag advocating for a boycott of the brand began circulating on the platform.

The news comes from the  Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak and has been reported by various Israeli publications. While there hasn't been official confirmation from Dior or the model, it has generated significant controversy on social media, leading to the hashtag #BoycottDior trending on X, Elon Musk's former platform.
