India, currently part of the G20 Troika alongside Brazil and South Africa, has voiced its firm support for Brazil's presidency theme: "Building a Just World and a Sustainable Planet," focusing on (i) social inclusion and fighting hunger and poverty, (ii) energy transitions and sustainable development, and (iii) global governance reforms, the MEA said in a statement.
Building upon India's G20 agenda, Brazil has expanded the platform to include new focused groups on "Empowerment of Women" and "Judiciary 20." Under its G20 presidency, Brazil aims to leverage its expertise in tackling food insecurity and poverty reduction to empower other nations.
