Josh Kruger - Renowned US Journo & gender rights activist shot dead

Josh Kruger, a prominent Philadelphia journalist and advocate, tragically lost his life in a shooting at his Point Breeze home. The 39-year-old journalist, known for his impactful coverage of LGBTQ+ rights, homelessness, HIV, and addiction, was shot seven times in the chest and abdomen around 1:29 AM. While Kruger was rushed to the hospital, he was later pronounced dead. The police have not yet made any arrests in connection with his murder, and no weapons have been recovered.

The Committee to Protect Journalists also released a statement, calling for a thorough investigation to determine whether Kruger's murder was related to his work as a journalist.
