Hamas freed two American citizens who were being held hostage in Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's administration informed on Friday that two American hostages, a mother and daughter who were captured during the attack on southern Israel on October 7, were released by Hamas.

Judith Tai Raanan, 59, and her daughter Natalie, 17, were turned up to Israeli forces at the Gaza Strip border on Friday. They are the first hostages whose release by Hamas has been confirmed by both sides since the most recent outbreak of Arab-Israeli carnage.

The Izz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades' spokesperson, for the armed wing of Hamas, Abu Ubaida, first announced the release, and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu later confirmed it in a statement.

US President seeks over $150 billion for security assistance to address Ukraine and Israel conflict

According to CNN, US President Joe Biden has asked Congress for more than $105 billion as part of a package to provide security support to resolve the current conflicts in Israel and Ukraine. Biden Stated, “The request will help mitigate the global humanitarian impacts of Russia's brutal invasion of Ukraine and of Hamas' horrific attacks on Israel, including by extending humanitarian assistance to civilians in Gaza."

UK PM met Egypt's President and Palestine's President in Cairo on Friday

Friday in Cairo, President of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas met with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. They all agreed that it was crucial to allow aid to reach Gaza and keep civilian losses to a minimum in the war between Israel and Hamas during these discussions. The meeting was a stop on Prime Minister Sunak's Middle East diplomatic visit.

Remains of 4 of 10 Nepalese students will be sent to their country on Sunday

Four out of the ten Nepalese students who tragically died in a Hamas strike at an Israeli Kibbutz farm earlier this month will have their remains returned to Nepal on Sunday, according to a Foreign Ministry official. Ten Nepalese students died as a result of the horrible incident, which happened on October 7.
