Authorities in California have picked up the air hunt for British actor Julian Sands, who vanished while hiking last Friday. The ground search for Mr Sands has been suspended, nevertheless, because of the terrible condition of the roads. The British actor was last spotted a week prior in the Baldy Bowl region of the San Gabriel Mountains, north of Los Angeles. Police claimed to have discovered his automobile near where he was reported missing.
British actor Julian Sands is well-known for his roles in movies, TV shows, and plays. 1958 saw Sands' birth in Otley, West Yorkshire, England. Early in the 1980s, he started acting, appearing in numerous theatre shows in London's West End. Sands had a successful career in film and television after making his debut in "Oxford Blues" in 1983.
Sands is best known for his role as the demon "Garth" in the 1984 film "A Nightmare on Elm Street". He has also appeared in many other notable films, such as "Room with a View", "The Killing Fields", "Arachnophobia" and "Leaving Las Vegas" Sands has also appeared in many television series and miniseries, including "V for Vendetta", "Smallville" and "24."
California's San Gabriel Mountains are a well-liked hiking destination, and Mount Baldy, also called Mount San Antonio, is one of them. It is both the highest point in Los Angeles County and the highest mountain in the San Gabriel Mountains. Over 6,000 feet of elevation are gained on the trail, making it steep and rugged.
