On Tuesday, he, along with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, addressed a rally for the Indian diaspora at Sydney's Olympic Park.On Wednesday, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled for substantial discussions with Prime Minister Albanese. In the evening of the same day, the Parliament House in Canberra will serve as the venue for the screening of the BBC documentary. The event is organized by a group of lawmakers and human rights activists.The Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson, Arindam Bagchi, strongly criticized the BBC documentary, labeling it as a "propaganda piece" aimed at promoting a discredited narrative. He pointed out the bias, lack of objectivity, and a persisting colonial mindset in the documentary. Following the screening of the 40-minute documentary, a panel discussion will take place, featuring Australian Greens senator Jordan Steele-John, Aakashi Bhatt (daughter of former IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt), and Aakar Patel (former head of Amnesty India).
