Afghanistan Experiences 4.3-Magnitude Earthquake, No Casualties reported

The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) tweeted on Tuesday that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 had struck 116 kilometers to the southeast of Fayzabad in Afghanistan.

The earthquake struck Tuesday at 3:32 am IST and was 120 kilometers deep. Tweeted the NCS: "Earthquake of Magnitude 4.3, Occurred on 09-05-2023, 03:32:23 IST, Lat: 36.47 & Long: 71.59, Depth: 120 Km, Location: 116km SE of Fayzabad, Afghanistan."

There have not yet been any recorded fatalities. More information is awaited.
