Universal Studios has announced that they are opening a new theme park in Frisco, Texas. This "one-of-a-kind" park will feature attractions, interactive shows, and opportunities for meet-and-greets with characters. It will also include rides, shows, and a hotel, as well as character meet and greets tied to the company's library of film and TV properties. The park is expected to cover about a quarter of the 97 acres of land purchased in Frisco and will be family-focused. Universal Studios in Frisco is planned to open in January 2023.
