According to reports, Shivani went into labour and her family called an ambulance. However, the vehicle reportedly got stuck in mud due to poor road conditions, leaving the family with no option but to use a bullock cart to reach the hospital.

The family alleges that the delay in receiving medical care resulted in the loss of the unborn child. The exact circumstances surrounding the death would need to be established by the authorities.

Villagers reportedly say they have repeatedly requested officials to repair the road, but the situation remains unchanged.
