"In areas of Srinagar with a lot of foot traffic, tourist attractions, and other commercial areas, the wi-fi zones aim to provide citizens and tourists with high-speed internet access. According to the document, "Wi-Fi access at these locations acts as a magnet." All users will have access to high-speed internet for the first 15 minutes, after which they will have the option to continue using the internet by purchasing additional data or time.
According to the document, the goal is also to reduce operating costs and speed up the delivery of e-government services to citizens.
