Banks Could See Major Service Disruptions From Sept 28! 🏦🚨

Bank unions have called a nationwide strike from September 28 to 30, with demands including a five day workweek and changes related to performance linked incentives.

Since September 26 and 27 fall on the weekend, branch based services could otherwise face disruption for several consecutive days. To reduce the impact, public sector and regional rural banks will remain open on Sunday, September 27, with RBI approval for branches and related banking offices to operate.

For routine banking, customers can continue using ATMs, UPI, mobile banking and internet banking if services remain available. Banks have also advised customers to complete important branch based work in advance.
