Baby Elephant Rescued After Being Swept Away in Teesta River 🐘❤️

A four-day-old elephant calf was swept nearly 4 km downstream after getting separated from its herd near the Gajoldoba barrage in Jalpaiguri.

Local fishermen rescued the calf by boat, while the Baikanthapur Forest Division provided immediate veterinary care.

Thankfully, the calf was reunited with its mother, who accepted and nursed it back into the herd. ❤️🐘
