Two Women Die in Nalasopara High Rise Fire, Six Hospitalised 🚨

A fire broke out on the 14th floor of Imperial Heights residential building in Nalasopara, Maharashtra, late Tuesday night, claiming the lives of two women.

The victims, identified as Falguni Shah, 50, and Ashwini Parkar, 50, reportedly died due to smoke inhalation and suffocation. Six other residents were hospitalised.

In a dramatic rescue operation, four people trapped on an exterior ledge for over 40 minutes were safely evacuated by firefighters using a crane.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, raising fresh concerns about fire safety and emergency preparedness in high rise buildings.
