In addition to regular deployments in Mumbai and Nagpur, NDRF teams have been stationed in various other locations such as Vasai (Palghar), Thane, Ghatkopar, Powai (Kurla), Mahad (Raigad), Khed and Chiplun (Ratnagiri), Kudal (Sindhudurg), Kolhapur, Sangli, and Satara.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has urged officials to remain on high alert and coordinate with various agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of citizens. Regular updates from the IMD are crucial for effective planning and response.
