A shocking murder case has emerged from Mumbai where a man named Sakaram hired killers to murder his wife Geeta Chaudhary for just ₹6.7 lakh because he was having an affair with another woman, Dimple Chaudhary.

Sakaram had already made two failed attempts to kill Geeta – once by staging a road accident in Powai and once through physical assault.

On 14 October 2024, he succeeded when his friend Shankar Dangi and two others strangled Geeta and staged the murder as suicide by hanging her from a ceiling fan.

Geeta’s father suspected foul play and pushed for a second post-mortem, which confirmed death by strangulation.

After a long investigation, police arrested all four accused – Sakaram, Shankar Dangi, Babu (alias Raghav), and Dinesh Gayri.

This case highlights how greed and an extramarital affair led to a cold-blooded murder.
