Monday marked the beginning of the 10-day Braj Ki Holi celebrations, which start before the traditional Holi celebrations. It is notable for its distinctive, imaginative, and colorful customs. The Braj Ki Holi traditions, as the name suggests, are inspired by Lord Krishna and Radha's lives, and the celebrations in Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana, Nandgaon, and Gokul are devoted to Krishna Kanhaniya, who spent his infancy in these locations.

Braj Ki Holi is undoubtedly the most colorful of all the Holi celebrations in India, whether it is Lathmar Holi of Barsana, which commemorates the legend of Shri Krishna being beaten by Radha and Gopis by sticks when he poured color on them, or Phoolon Wali Holi, which captures the unforgettable moments of the two playing with flowers at Vrindavan. This year's Lathmar Holi will be celebrated in Barsana from March 18-25 and in Nandgaon from March 19-25.
