#TheUnsungHeros : There was a time in India when thousands of children were found not in classrooms, but trapped in factories, weaving carpets, making firecrackers, or working in hazardous mines.
Instead of holding books, these small hands held scars. But one man decided that if the system wouldn't protect these children, he would.
His name is Kailash Satyarthi. He walked away from a secure career and a comfortable life to find the children the world had forgotten.
This was no easy task, he wasn't just fighting poverty; he was taking on the dangerous child labor mafia.
Despite receiving threats and facing violent attacks during rescue missions, he never gave up.
His organization, Bachpan Bachao Andolan, has rescued thousands of children from factories and illegal workshops.
In 2014, his relentless dedication was recognized with the Nobel Peace Prize.
